Project Engineer
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering strongly desired
• Must have at least (5) years overall experience in industrial project engineering position(s)
• Resume must show that capital equipment acquisition and implementation project work is the core of their experience
• Experience in pre-studies, project / equipment specification, design reviews, factory acceptance testing, directing installation, site acceptance testing, commissioning of capital equipment is a must
• Experience with capital expenditure requests, writes purchase order requisitions, manages budgets, and adheres to time-lines
• Experience erecting buildings is desired
• Must have working knowledge of electrical control systems that make equipment and production lines function (PLCs, VFDs, control panel components, field devices, safety circuits)
• Must be able to communicate with electrical engineers, programmers and electricians in order for equipment / production lines to be safe and to function as required to accomplish project goals, and to be able to trouble shoot problems with equipment.
• Programs to be familiar with; Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project, Power Point. AutoCad experience is a must (currently using Autocad 2025 and Autocad LT 2025), and Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks expertise is highly desired.
Flexible Qualifications:
• Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Kepner Tregoe training desired.
• High speed packaging equipment experience would be highly desired, but other fields would be considered.
