Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead high-end residential Shell construction projects in Sarasota, FL. This senior-level role requires expertise in planning, executing, and completing multiple projects, ensuring they meet design, schedule, and budget expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, deep knowledge of Shell construction, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring projects align with design, timeline, and financial goals.
• Implement project governance standards and utilize project management software for effective oversight.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.
• Identify and resolve escalated issues, propose process improvements, and optimize cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to define project specifications and uphold quality standards.
• Supervise subcontractor payments, project scope management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor and report project progress, providing detailed updates to stakeholders.
• Plan and allocate resources efficiently to meet project milestones on time.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Construction Project Management, with expertise in Shell construction.
• OSHA (10-hour) certification required; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) required – must be able to communicate effectively in both languages.
