POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Property Claims Representative is responsible for managing complex property claims with a high degree of autonomy while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the claims resolution process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve property claims of moderate to high complexity and value
• Exercise independent judgment within delegated reserve and settlement authority
• Manage claims involving unique coverage considerations and specialized exposure issues
• Participate in catastrophe response deployments as needed to support customers in affected regions
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience required
• Minimum five years of progressive experience in residential and commercial claims adjustment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-focused mindset with demonstrated empathy
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative work environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual language skills
Associate in Claims (AIC) designation
Other professional claims certifications
LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Valid adjuster's license(s) in applicable jurisdictions or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
