Medical Scheduler - 238484
We are currently seeking a Medical Scheduler for the Sarasota / Bradenton area!
Responsibilities include:
• Conducting professional interviews and scheduling patients for outpatient services, including pre-registration.
• Efficiently coordinating patient schedules to optimize satisfaction for both patients and physicians throughout the institution.
• Effectively communicating patient instructions, physician order requirements, and authorization/pre-certification/referral needs to patients, physician office staff, and other relevant personnel.
• Ensuring scheduling and pre-registration accuracy aligns with department standards.
• Generating estimates for patient financial responsibilities and collecting co-insurance, co-payments, and deductibles as required.
• Initiating processes to ensure patients meet hospital financial policies/guidelines for services, and facilitating transfers to appropriate departments for complex situations.
Schedule: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
Pay Starting: $17.75/hr
Duration: Contract to Hire (contract set to run 6 months)
Start Date: ASAP
Compliance Requirements: Drug Screen, Health Screen, Background Screen, Education (High School or GED required) and Employment Verification
