Job Responsibilities
As a Caregiver , you’ll provide essential assistance to seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they live as independently and comfortably as possible. Your role will include:
• Personal Care Assistance: Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Assist with walking, transferring, and positioning clients as needed.
• Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients, considering dietary needs and preferences.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support, companionship, and mental stimulation through activities, conversation, and shared time.
• Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take prescribed medications at the appropriate times.
• Light Housekeeping: Assist with light cleaning tasks such as tidying up the home, doing laundry, and washing dishes.
• Transportation Assistance: Provide transportation to and from appointments or errands as needed.
Qualifications
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required—we offer comprehensive training to help you succeed.
• Ability to provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor, with a commitment to providing the best care for clients.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state-specific caregiver requirements.
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification is preferred, or willingness to obtain it.
