Mission description
Summary: As part of a cohesive Finance Team across 3 sites (Sarasota, Twinsburg and Chihuahua) this role will support the Head of Controlling with all Industrial Finance matters relating to manufacturing accounting, cost performance analysis & Inventory. The role holder will be accountable for the calculation & analysis of site manufacturing rates, standard cost computation and all Financial KPI's relating to manufacturing performance, including the achievement of improvement action plans. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide functions and management with reliable financial data in order to assist in the decision-making processes Prepare industrial Budget (3y) which includes hourly rate, Burden rate, Standard Cost roll calculation and other production variances calculation, Manufacturing department cost & Inventory estimation Monthly Reporting and analysis of all Industrials KPI including Manufacturing & Purchasing, Under/Over recovery, production variances, Departement cost analysis, Productivity, Efficiency Productivity & Efficiency KPI's: define the process, identify gaps vs current tracking system, set up improvement action plans with the Head of Manufacturing. Contribute to workload vs Capacity analysis. Reconciliation of Productivity & Efficiency KPI's to P&L (variances Actual v Forecast & Budget) Sales & standard margin analysis versus Forecast & Budget ; explanation of variances (Volume, Mix, Sales Price) Construction of annual Mid Term Plan (MTP) , focusing on standard margins & manufacturing performance evolution Calculation of E&O Reserve and ensuring compliance with Safran policies. Support Year End physical Inventory with Supply chain Provide rolling forecast for next 3 month and YE landing Present Manufacturing Budgetary control with corrective actions to Head of Industry and Finance on a monthly basis, with visibility of spending over the next 3 months. Respond to cost queries/commercial bid activity from the business Provides financial guidance and recommendations to management and employees Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency as well as cost savings Ensures compliance with government laws and regulations, policies, and professional standards; Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture; Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 5 years preferred. Knowledge/Skills Ability to work with other team members to achieve desired results - Expert Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI) Must possess the ability to run and analyze Accounting reports and data - Expert Familiar with SAP - Advanced Organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines Expert Proactive in identifying Cost saving opportunity Independent and solution-oriented way of working Physical Demands: This position sits and performs computer work for extended periods of time. Work Environment: The work environment is an office setting with moderate office noise.
