Overall Purpose
The job of 21 st CLCC Site Coordinator is done for the purpose/s of working directly with teachers and staff at the elementary, middle, or high school level, under the direction of the principal and 21 st CLCC Program Manager, to provide assistance in the areas of curriculum and instruction that will enhance teacher effectiveness and maximize student learning in a standards-based learning environment; working with administrators and teachers to align their work with district priorities; and serving on the school’s data team with instructional coaches, graduation coaches, counselors, and the behavior specialist to utilize data to improve student achievement.

Essential Functions
• Assists enrichment teachers in planning, organizing, and implementing standards-based classroom practices for the purpose of collecting and analyzing student work, providing resources for student learning, monitoring student progress, and implementing differentiated instructional practices.
• Provides staff development and models lessons across content areas.
• Shares current research on instructional best practices.
• Assists teachers as needed with the total instructional program.
• Assists with effective planning, implementation and utilization of technology as it relates to instruction.
• Acts as a liaison between teams across grade levels and content areas.
• Provides leadership for a continuous program of curriculum and instructional improvement.
• Recommends and obtains instructional materials, methods, and resources as needed by teachers.
• Cultivates and models a respectful working environment.
• Communicates effectively with administrators, staff, students, parents, and the community.
• Monitors and maintains accurate records of student attendance for each enrichment class.
• Works with summer school principal to ensure enrichment program is effectively organized and implemented during summer school.
Marginal Functions
• Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
• Ability-based Competencies
Required to schedule activities; collate data; and use job-related equipment. Flexibility is required to work with others; work with data utilizing defined but different processes; and operate equipment using standardized methods. Ability is also required to work with a wide diversity of individuals; work with a variety of data; and utilize specific, job-related equipment. Problem solving is required to identify issues and create action plans. Problem solving with data requires independent interpretation of guidelines; and problem solving with equipment is limited to moderate. Specific ability based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: communicating with diverse groups; maintaining confidentiality; setting priorities; working as part of a team; and working with constant interruptions.
Requirements
T-5 certification in middle grades or higher, leadership certification preferred
Minimum of five (5) years’ successful educational experience preferred
Demonstrated experience in the areas of improving student achievement, differentiated instruction, curriculum integration and classroom management.
Physical Requirements
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity.
Generally the job requires 20% sitting, 40% walking, and 40% standing.

Required to perform multiple tasks with a need to occasionally upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions.
