Position Description
Epic Special Education Staffing is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for a Teacher of the Visually Impaired for the 2023-2024 school year.
• Location: Surprise, AZ
• Duration: Immediately - May 2024
• Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
• Full or Part Time: Part Time
• Schedule: 12-20 hours/week; 5 days/week

• Hourly pay is based on national averages and will vary based on location, experience, qualifications and local or travel positions.

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for a TVI:
• 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid TVI Certificate/Credential or in process in the state of practice
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (or in process)
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
