Direct Hire - Automotive Mechanics Surprise, Arizona Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Mechanic with 5–10 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of mechanical repairs and maintenance services, with a strong focus on engine and transmission diagnostics and repairs . The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing vehicle systems while maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair engine and transmission issues , including replacements and rebuilds. Perform routine maintenance , such as oil changes, tune-ups, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Inspect and repair braking, suspension, steering, and electrical systems . Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess vehicle performance and troubleshoot issues. Assist with complex mechanical issues , collaborating with senior technicians as needed. Follow manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices for repairs and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Ensure compliance with safety standards and shop protocols . Qualifications & Skills: 5–10 years of experience in automotive repair, including engine and transmission work . ASE certifications preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of braking, steering, suspension, and electrical systems . Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment . Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions.
