Job Summary
In addition to being responsible for performing the standard duties & responsibilities of the Outpatient Clinic Coordinator, this position functions in a lead support role assisting leadership in the areas of technical operations, personnel management, quality control and financial management.
Required Qualifications
• Require an Associate's degree; will consider relevant experience in a healthcare setting on a year-for-year basis in lieu of the required degree.
• Require a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a healthcare-related field, and/or customer service-based field. A combination of relevant work experience and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree may substitute for the required experience.
• Require a Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification within six (6) months of hire/transfer. Must maintain active certification thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer computer experience. Prefer superuser for relevant software.
Prefer knowledge of third party payers.
Prefer medical terminology knowledge.
