Description: 
Commercial / OTR Tire Tech General Description: 
Perform alignment and Tire service for commercial vehicles and large equipment, inside shop and outside roadside and customer yard work. 
Commercial / OTR Tire Tech Duties Include: 
· Inspect vehicles using commercial TIA standards and Advise customer and or management of necessary repairs. 
· Align front ends and suspension systems, using alignment equipment 
· Drive service truck to customer locations and requested road service calls. 
· Raise and lower vehicles safely, with hydraulic or floor jacks. 
· Safely operate all shop machinery, including but not limited to safety cage, spreader, balancer, floor jacks or lifts, air powered tools, torque wrench and/or torque sticks. 
· Safely operate all service truck machinery, including but not limited to all shop machinery, boom and hook. 
· Read work orders thoroughly and perform all listed tasks. 
· Perform general housekeeping duties. 
· Perform other duties as assigned. 
Requirements: 
Commercial / OTR Tire Tech Requirements: 
· Prior commercial tire experience preferred. 
· Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner. 
· The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment. 
· Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group. 
· Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well. 
Reliable Transportation to work and a good Daily Attendance.

Commercial / OTR Tire Tech Physical Demands / Work Environment: 
· Lifting: Frequent lifting over 50 pounds from ground to chest high. 
· Frequent squatting, bending, and twisting. 
· Repetitive motion. 
· Sustained vibrations. 
· Standing for extended periods of time. 
· Read ticket and perform work listed; write confirmation and recommendation. 
· Environment: Work in an environment that is not climate controlled. Temperatures range from extremely hot to extremely cold, depending on the season. 
· Vision (Near, distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception). 
· Sense of sound (Alarms, horns, and motorized equipment). 
· PPE: Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Safety Glasses, gloves, safety harnesses, steel reinforced footwear).
