Compression Mold Technician
Description
Schedule: Day shift: 6:45am - 7:00pm
(Week 1: M/T/F/Sa, Week 2: Su/W/TH).
• Run Machines: Set up, operate, clean, and monitor production machines.
• Check Quality: Inspect products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Fix Issues: Troubleshoot minor problems and report major ones to your supervisor.
• Keep Records: Track production numbers, downtime, and any issues. Fill out necessary reports.
• Stay Safe: Follow all safety rules and keep your workspace clean and hazard-free.
• Maintain Equipment: Clean and take care of machines to keep them running well.
• Work as a Team: Help train new employees and work together to meet production goals.
• Handle Materials: Store and label raw materials and finished products correctly.
• Follow Rules: Adhere to company policies and complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Solve Problems: Use good judgment to resolve issues and make smart decisions.
• Keep Learning: Improve your skills through training and education.
• Show Up: Be on time and reliable.
Requirements
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery.
• Basic math skills for measuring and recording production data.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred
• Willingness and ability to work a 12 hour shift schedule with evening/weekend work (Week 1:M/T/F/Sa, Week 2: Su/W/TH).
Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses
• Education Required - High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Position requires full shifts in an environment with extreme temperatures (>100+ in summer months)
