Plastic Processing Technician

2 shifts to choose from:
1: Day Shift: 6:45am - 7:00pm
2: Night Shift: 6:45pm - 7:00am
Our team follows a rotating 2-week schedule , giving you built-in days off while maintaining full-time hours.
• Week 1: Work Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday (47 hours)
• Week 2: Work Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday (35.25 hours)
This means you’ll work only 7 days every 2 weeks , with every other weekend off , while still receiving a full paycheck.
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! We will start you with 1 week of on-the-job training and build from there.
Job Responsibilities
• Operate Machinery: Set up, run, and watch production machines. Follow instructions to keep them working properly.
• Inspect Products: Check each item for quality and report problems to the Line Operator. Look at pallets to make sure everything meets standards.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Solve small problems with machines and let the supervisor know about bigger issues.
• Record Work: Write down how much you make, any downtime, and any problems. Fill out production logs and inspection forms.
• Stay Safe: Follow safety rules, keep work areas clean, and report unsafe conditions or broken equipment.
• Clean Machines: Clean and maintain machines and tools to keep them running well.
• Help the Team: Train new workers, work with teammates, and communicate respectfully.
• Handle Materials: Package, label, and store raw materials and finished products correctly.
• Follow Policies: Stick to company rules and finish tasks on time with good quality.
• Solve Problems: Handle conflicts, make decisions, and keep improving through training.
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Basic mechanical ability and ability to operate production machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Basic math skills for measuring and recording production data.
Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses
• Education Required - High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Position requires full shifts in an environment with temperatures 100+ in summer months.
