Commercial Construction Superintendent
Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversees and manages all aspects of construction projects for K-12 and Municipal projects. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of construction projects from start to finish.
• Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and construction workers.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work meets or exceeds quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.
• Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and control costs to ensure financial efficiency.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders, including school district officials, architects, and engineers.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on K-12 or Municipal projects.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSHA, PMP, or LEED are a plus.
