Why You Should Apply: At Alares, you'll play a crucial role in designing mechanical system upgrades such as air handler replacements, chiller and boiler upgrades, building automation system upgrades, clinic renovations and new building additions. Your work will directly contribute to the betterment of healthcare conditions for our esteemed veterans. As a HVAC Mechanical Engineer you will be immersed in all types of projects which will enhance your knowledge of HVAC systems in a relatively short period of time. Your responsibilities will be varied and impactful: Prepare Mechanical Drawings and Specifications: Providing mechanical details for hospital construction projects. Review Mechanical Drawings: Dive into the details of mechanical designs, ensuring precision and functionality. Conduct Construction Inspections: Be the on-site expert, verifying that the design is faithfully implemented. Prepare Site Visit Reports: Your observations will shape the course of hospital projects. Prepare Scopes of Work: Contribute your expertise to defining project objectives. Ensure System Sequences of Operations: Verify that air handler units, chillers, and heating systems are operating seamlessly. Field Verification: Assess existing systems for renovation projects, providing essential data. Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct Commissioning of HVAC systems. Conduct sustainability assessments of facilities Position Requirements: To succeed in this impactful role, you should possess the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering: Your academic foundation is crucial. Experience in Mechanical HVAC Projects: Prior experience in designing mechanical HVAC projects is highly valued (minimum 3 years of experience). Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills: Your ability to coordinate and communicate effectively is essential.
