Remote Assistant Treasurer | WFH Opportunity
Job Overview
We are excited to announce a full-time opportunity for a skilled and motivated Assistant Treasurer to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This position is ideal for professionals who are meticulous, enjoy numerical analysis, and are dedicated to maintaining high levels of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the Senior Vice President and Treasurer in overseeing Corporate Treasury functions.
• Manage the organization's investment portfolio, which includes purchases, sales, monthly analysis, and accurate record maintenance.
• Assist the Treasurer in various aspects of balance sheet management.
• Support liquidity management to ensure operational and regulatory liquidity needs are met, including modeling to assess liquidity and funding strategies.
• Help manage the derivatives portfolio, including overseeing back-to-back swap programs and Mortgage Service Rights hedge programs.
• Prepare and develop weekly, monthly, and quarterly Treasury reports for senior leadership.
• Aid in the preparation and presentation of materials for the Asset Liability Committee (ALCO).
• Generate and maintain reports on macroeconomic trends.
• Act as a liaison for treasury-related projects and initiatives with other departments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant treasury policies and procedures.
• Monitor daily cash flow and collateral management effectively.
• Uphold Fair and Responsible Banking practices and adhere to the Code of Ethics and Conduct guidelines.
• Engage in the organization's Community Reinvestment Act program.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong financial analysis capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present financial analyses effectively.
• A self-motivated work ethic, with the ability to work independently as well as thrive in a team setting.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Qualifications
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance or treasury.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
• An MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is advantageous.
• Experience in asset-liability management is preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle Financial Software is a plus.
