Service & Calibration Technician

Pyramid Technologies, Inc. is looking for a motivated and reliable addition to our team. The Service and Calibration Repair Technician will be responsible for diagnosing technical problems, performing repairs and calibrations, and ensuring that our products meet industry standards and customer requirements. This person will need to be willing to assist within the production department as well, adjusting to the needs of the team when particular teams have more pressing need.
Responsibilities
Perform repairs and calibrations on our products, including bill acceptors, thermal printers, and associated software products, to ensure that they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot issues with our products to identify the root cause of the problem.
Provide technical support to customers to help them troubleshoot technical issues with our products.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and calibrations, including documenting the cause of the problem, the solution, and any other relevant information.
Collaborate with the production and quality control departments to identify and resolve product quality issues.
Assist with the needs of the production floor, contributing to the assembly team when needed.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including maintaining certifications and participating in audits.
Provide feedback to the engineering department to help improve the design and functionality of our products.
Participate in training and professional development activities to stay up-to-date on industry standards and technical knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field; preferred but not required.
2+ years of experience in repair and calibration of technical products, including bill acceptors, thermo printers, and associated software products.
Strong technical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems, including the ability to read and interpret technical schematics and drawings.
Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair technical problems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers and colleagues.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions to technical problems.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience with quality control and industry regulations is a plus.
