Description: HTS is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join our therapy team in Owensboro, KY. This will be a full-time position at 30 – 40 hours per week. This OT will complete evaluations, recertifications, discharges, etc., in addition to providing treatments, at two local facilities located within just a few miles of each other. Compensated drive time and mileage between buildings. The primary facility is a senior living community offering skilled nursing and long-term care where the OT will join forces with our enthusiastic team working in a well-equipped therapy gym. The secondary facility, specializing in dementia related diagnoses, offers an enjoyable work environment for someone who likes to collaborate with a great team and solve problems to make a positive impact on residents’ lives. When needed, this OT will also be backup at a nearby community-based senior care center offering innovative support and care. Requirements: Applicants must have an active Kentucky Occupational Therapist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Kentucky license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
