We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team and help us continue to provide top-notch service.
Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Ricoh and Brother copiers at various customer locations in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. You will be the face of our company, providing expert service and building lasting relationships with clients. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of diagnosing complex issues while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Ricoh and Brother copiers in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Manatee, and Sarasota counties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues and provide timely solutions.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to understand their needs and explain repair options.
• Maintain accurate service records, including repair details and parts used.
• Manage and prioritize service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering parts as needed.
• Provide training to clients on copier operation and basic troubleshooting when required.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest copier technologies and service techniques.
Qualifications:
• Experience repairing or servicing Ricoh and Brother copiers is highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Must be comfortable working in the field and traveling to customer locations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (must have own vehicle). Mileage/Parking/Tolls are reimbursed
• Technical certification or training in copier repair is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for service reporting and parts ordering.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
