EQUIPMENT MECHANIC
NEW RIVER RESOURCE AUTHORITY
The New River Resource Authority (NRRA) invites applications for the position of Equipment Mechanic. This position will be responsible for performing duties associated with routine daily and weekly maintenance activities. Other general duties include assisting with repairs and maintenance activities and performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer’s specifications. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented with experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment. Heavy equipment technical school training preferred. Experience in trouble shooting, diagnosing, and repairing electrical, hydraulic and diesel engines also preferred. The hourly rate is dependent on qualifications. The minimum entry-level hourly rate is $28.25. The Authority offers a competitive benefit package.
