Weelborg Chevrolet of New Ulm, MN is seeking a dependable, motivated self-starting Lube Technician. Job Summary The Tire and Lube Technician is responsible for vehicle maintenance and light care like oil changes and tire rotations, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Essential Responsibilities: The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time: Perform multi-point inspections of vehicles including fluids, battery, brakes, belts, tires, etc. Service vehicles. Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations mounts and balancing, air and cabin filter changes, wiper blade and battery replacements. Drains oil and refills with required amount of oil. Replaces oil and air filters. Inspects vehicle fluid levels and replenishes, checks tire pressure and refills if necessary, and lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants. Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter. Clean and lubricate fittings as needed’ Maintain the dealership records and provide recommendations to their customers regarding their vehicles. Responsible for keeping shop area neat, clean, and able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times. Ensures that guest vehicles are kept clean. Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first. Perform light line maintenance. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Relevant work experience preferred.
