Director of Human Resources
The Mankato Clinic is looking for a new leader to guide the HR functions of the organization successfully into the future! The Director of Human Resources provides guidance to all levels within the organization, including the HR team of 4, and ensures HR needs align with business objectives. Responsible for recommending, developing and implementing system-wide human resources policies and programs on a strategic level in support of organizational goals. This includes recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, performance management, organizational development, employee relations, engagement, disciplinary matters and investigations, personnel records; and provides guidance to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations relative to human resources management. As a member of the Clinic’s leadership team, the Director of HR will also participate in strategic planning, and other leadership initiatives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevant field, AND
• Five or more years of progressive Human Resource experience in a senior HR or HR Manager position.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict management, negotiation, time and project management skills.
• Effective and clear verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to generate creative solutions to HR challenges.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to direct the activities of others in order to accomplish department and organizational goals.
