Full job description
NUBL in New Ulm, MN is in need of a Full-Time Body Shop Prep/Painter to join our team.
We are looking for the following qualities.
Hard working individuals who have the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting, following directions, remaining pro-active at all times, and having a desire to continually learn and grow your knowledge.
Additional Qualifications and Experience
General knowledge of metal work, welding, automotive painting, paint mixing and preparation including scuffing, sanding, cleaning and masking, restoration, safety procedures, etc. on primarily medium duty commercial vehicles - school buses. We will train the right individual.
**Wage depends on experience**
Workdays: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
• Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal and panel replacement, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Utilize hand and power tools for tasks such as welding and fabrication, adhering to safety standards.
• Conduct vehicle maintenance and detailing to enhance appearance and functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to assess repair needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Execute auto painting tasks, ensuring proper surface preparation and paint application techniques.
• Assist in the restoration of vehicles, applying mechanical knowledge and skills effectively.
