Our client is looking to add a Warehouse Operations Manager to their team. This role requires a dynamic and proactive individual capable of ensuring seamless warehouse operations while fostering a collaborative and efficient workplace. Salary/Hourly Rate: $112k - $117k plus Bonus Position Overview: The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for establishing and overseeing the end-to-end operations of a warehouse. This role focuses on developing optimal processes and practices to ensure smooth and efficient operations, timely dispatch to customers, and exceptional service delivery. This is a hands-on role, working with the Manager's 15 -20 staff on the ground. The ideal candidate for the Warehouse Operations Manager role is experienced in both manual and automated warehouse management systems and excels in customer service. This role will be working in a cold environment and full relocation is available. Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operations Manager:
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Recruit, train, and manage warehouse personnel, establishing clear reporting structures and defining roles and responsibilities.
• Foster a professional and positive work environment across warehouse, office, driver, and sales teams.
• Office Functions:
• Handle customer interactions, computer operations, and cash transactions, including deposits.
• Warehouse Functions:
• Organize product placement to maximize efficiency.
• Oversee order pulling, processing, and accuracy checks for customer shipments.
• Manage the receipt, processing, and maintenance of new inventory.
• Maintain clean, charged products ready for distribution.
• Ensure proper processing and control of all returns, including rotations, adjustments, and damaged goods.
• Oversee the accurate loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
• Conduct monthly inventory counts and reconciliations to maintain accuracy.
• Driver/Delivery Functions:
• Plan vehicle routes for daily deliveries.
• Enforce driver protocols and maintain a high standard for driver and customer interactions.
• Warehouse and Inventory Optimization:
• Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and compliance with proper loading, stocking, and safekeeping practices.
• Prevent product damage, pilferage, accidents, and occupational hazards.
• Implement effective inventory monitoring systems and workflows.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Provide leadership with regular reports on inventory levels, profit and loss (P&L), and issue resolution.
• Other Responsibilities:
• Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for warehouse personnel.
• Address additional tasks as needed to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications for the Warehouse Operations Manager:
• 5 - 8 years+ of managerial experience in warehouse operations.
• 3 - 4 years+ of working in a food production environment.
• Must have experience feeding the lines and with FIFO.
• Experienced in staging trucks for delivery.
• Proven ability to establish workflows and operational systems independently.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in multitasking and managing priorities effectively.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT equipment.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Skilled in conflict resolution and management.

• Bachelor's degree is required.
