Job duties for Maintenance Electrician:
• Troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment
• Manage safety, scheduling, and training for repairs
• Work independently on projects from start to finish
• Maintain effective communication across shifts and departments
• Meet organizational objectives and support fiscal responsibility
• Integrate new components and systems
• Ensure products and systems meet manufacturing and GMP requirements
• Research and implement solutions for operational issues
• Maintain project and equipment documentation
• Plan and fabricate system improvements
• Maintain and install all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
• Completes any other related tasks as needed
Qualifications and desired skills for Maintenance Electrician:
• Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field
• 5+ years of previous experience
• Work with others and independently
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and OSHA codes
• Experience with 3-phase power and PLC programming (RSS00, RsS000, Siemens)
• Proficient with shop equipment and conduit installation
• PLC troubleshooting and basic programming skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; AutoCAD preferred
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Capable of reading electrical and mechanical schematics
• Ability to stand for duration of shift
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
