Our growing firm is looking for Associate Attorneys to assist with our high volume of litigation, and pre-suit cases. Your tasks include drafting legal documents, assisting with the discovery process, and performing legal research for each case. The ideal applicant has at minimum 1 year of litigating experience. *NOTE Applicants that are not licensed with the State of Florida will not be reviewed.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with drafting legal documents, including motions and pleadings
• Assist with the discovery process by administering depositions, issuing interrogatories, and reviewing documents
• Negotiate settlements
• Perform legal research
• Make court appearances and attend mediations, site inspections, etc., as required
Requirements/Qualifications
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• License to practice law in Florida*********
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
