Project Engineer
Swedish Match North America LLC, develops, manufactures, and sells quality products with market leading brands such as ZYN nicotine pouches and other smokeless tobacco products. In order to continually promote and create innovative products that support our vision we are currently seeking a Project Engineer for the Owensboro, KY facility.

Coordinates Major Engineering Projec
• tsAssists with specification and development of annual Departmental goals and accountabilitie
• s;Performs and evaluates process mapping and value stream analyse
• s;Generates ACAD drawings and detail specifications to accommodate equipment bidding and project wor
• k;Works with Marketing personnel to develop packaging equipment alternatives/systems for new product concept
• s;Generates project scopes of work, costs estimates, and schedules for management approval and executio
• n;Effectively communicates in written and verbal form project options, justifications, and proposal
• s;Manages effective and efficient project execution as require
• d;Negotiates contracts as require
• d;Coordinates and is accountable for the installation and erection of buildings and machiner
• y;Identifies and drives continuous improvement projects and cost contro
• l;Prepares and operates within operating budgets, capital expenditure requests, and the capital pla
• n;Works with required disciplines to revise the annual Capital Budge

Educati on: B.S. in Mechanical Engineeri
ng.
Experie nce: Five to ten years of Engineering experience in manufacturing facilities, preferably the consumer products industry. A solid background in consumer products, high speed, packaging systems is strongly desi
red.
Skill/Special Knowl edge: Ability to organize and direct major engineering projects as well as indirectly manage personnel to execute projects. Specialized and practical knowledge in equipment packaging systems design and implementation is strongly desired. Additional skills desired include a foundation in Lean / Sigma methods / techniques and knowledge of maintenance management. Proficiency in the use of ACAD, WORD, EXCEL, POWER POINT, and Microsoft Project is requ
