Aircraft Technician / A&P Mechanic
Locations: Mesa, AZ
Compensation: $60,000 per year + bonuses and monthly incentives

About the Role
Join an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of aircraft windows and aerostructures! As an Aircraft Technician / A&P Mechanic , you will provide specialized aircraft window services to a growing client base, ensuring the airworthiness and quality of aircraft windows while delivering exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with a strong mechanical aptitude who thrives in a dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do Aircraft Maintenance and Repair
• Remove existing windows and prep/install new ones.
• Repair scratches, pits, and other damage using orbital sanders.
• Conduct inspections and evaluate aircraft windows for airworthiness.
Customer Engagement
• Respond to on-call requests for emergency AOG services.
• Develop and grow client relationships through daily visits and communication.
• Provide airworthiness documentation and billing information to customers.
Administrative and Operational Duties
• Maintain traceability of parts and sign off on work orders.
• Perform weekly expense reporting for travel, gasoline, and customer relations.
• Keep the work area organized and ensure compliance with company policies.
Sales and Business Development
• Build and grow the regional market for window repair and replacement services.
• Work closely with customers to schedule services and secure purchase orders.
Qualifications Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 1 year of orbital sanding, auto body, or aircraft maintenance experience.
• A&P License or AMT Certificate preferred.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
Technical Skills
• Ability to use measuring devices and read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 70 lbs for extended periods.
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working on aircraft wings and cockpits.
