Summary: Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the Palletizer machine. This position shall assure the efficient operation, Palletization of all sauce products and operate in such a manner to maintain continuous operation without down time. The position shall also be responsible for cleaning the work area, verification and inspection of product and materials and maintain simple records.
Daily And As Required
• Follow all safety and GMP rules to assure zero accidents and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Perform manual tasks which support the continuous operation of the production lines. Such duties may include, but not be limited to:
• Sweeping, mopping and washing of floors and equipment.
• Operation and simple maintenance of the Palletizer machine and related equipment.
• Rotate duties with other workers at other locations in the plant as required.
• Performs simple quality inspections of product, materials and ingredients to assure
compliance to standards.
• Maintain simple records and paperwork related to inventory and quality.
• Performs other duties required of the position or as directed.
General Requirements
• Work safely
• Lift up to 50 pounds independently.
• Must be able to stand or walk around during 8 hours to perform job.
• Perform visual inspections of materials and products.
• Record simple data on paper and/or via keyboard.
• Read and understand simple written instructions.
• Perform other physical tasks which require pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, walking, climbing (stairs and ladders), standing and sitting.
• Able to use hands to perform a wide array of duties requiring fine manipulation and gross gripping.
