FUNCTION
The Beverage Server is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. This role involves maintaining a thorough knowledge of the facility’s beverage offerings and ensuring compliance with all safety and alcohol service regulations while creating a welcoming environment for guests.
Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests in assigned areas and deliver drinks promptly and accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and be able to make recommendations to guests.
• Ensure all orders are prepared and served following established procedures and presentation standards.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to all local, state, and facility guidelines for responsible beverage service.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, including collecting and disposing of used glasses, napkins, and other items.
• Engage with guests in a positive and professional manner to enhance their experience and address any concerns.
• Process payments for orders, including cash, credit card, and player rewards, accurately and efficiently.
• Assist in restocking and maintaining inventory levels for bar areas as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of beverages.
• Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Provides efficient, friendly, and attentive service to guests consistently.
Education, Training, And Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a food and beverage service role, preferably in a casino or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of state and local alcohol service regulations.
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license and alcohol service permit as required by the state of Kentucky.
