SUMMARY:
The Campus Testing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all State and District mandated testing activities. Maintains school level records and documentation of all State testing and District mandatory assessments. Maintains security and quality control throughout the entire testing process to ensure confidentiality and all policies, regulations, and procedures are being implemented.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Assists in the implementation of District testing program in accordance with the directions of the curriculum supervisors, district testing staff, and campus administration.
• Works with campus staff and administration to determine testing requirements, schedules, and room and staff assignments. Creates rosters and student sign-in sheets using data bases, word-processing, and spreadsheet software.
• Attends in-services to review critical procedures required to follow State and District testing guidelines.
• Takes inventory of campus testing materials and verifies orders. Prepares, stores securely, and arranges for teachers to pick up material on testing days.
• Collects, organizes, and verifies that all the tests and testing materials are returned with any required documentation and signatures after each testing session. Delivers all collected materials to a pre-determined site.
• Runs queries in student information system to determine which students need to participate in each particular test. Creates corresponding databases in spreadsheet software with pertinent information.
• Maintains files and data of assigned District and State testing results and disseminates results.
• Supports the relationship between the Phoenix Union High School District and the public by demonstrating courteous and professional behavior when interacting with students, parents, visitors, and school staff; maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, client records, and school information; follows Governing Board Policies; performs all other related duties as required or assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training, and Experience Guidelines:
High School diploma or GED equivalent; postsecondary education preferred; AND one year of previous experience, preferably with PXU or another educational environment; experience in inventory control preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
License and Certification Requirements:
A valid Arizona State Driver’s License is required.
Must possess an active Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or obtain one within the first 90 workdays of employment.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Competency in use of student information system to maintain and access data and produce reports related to testing.
• Knowledge of District and department policies and procedures.
• Skill in using personal computers utilizing standard and specialized software applications.
• Skill in inventory control, record keeping and file maintenance principles and procedures.
• Ability to write professional reports and correspondence from brief instructions.
• Ability in understanding, explaining, and applying relevant rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Skill in researching, analyzing, and compiling data for reports and technical documents.
• Ability in typing and entering data with speed and accuracy.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to provide excellent customer experiences, including but not limited to interacting tactfully and courteously with the public.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a standard office environment. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to work a flexible schedule during peak testing times.
