Location: MN-Oak Park Heights, Hybrid 3-4 days on site

Crew software engineering associates use a variety of technologies in Agile and lean startup methodologies to automate manual processes, create microsites, learn new technologies, and everything in between.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate advanced problem solving and collaboration while providing operational support, maintenance and advanced administration and implementation of the enterprise server computing environment (cloud and on-premises) leveraging agile (kanban/scrum) practices including troubleshooting, performance monitoring and management, security, optimization, capacity management and disaster recovery/business continuity planning
Identify and implement automation opportunities and improvements within existing server and storage environments and data center applications and operations
Create and maintain documentation relating to server configurations, back-up and recovery processes, security, monitoring, storage administration, license and capacity planning, disaster recovery/business continuity and data center operations
Respond quickly and effectively to production issues and take responsibility for seeing those issues through to resolution
Create proper incident communications, ensure incident management is followed, and incident root cause analysis is completed
Clearly articulate requirements, issues, status, etc. to non-technical management personnel
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (estimated rotation every 4-6+ weeks)
Partner closely with IT Infrastructure and Operation teams to ensure security, availability, performance, scalability, etc.
Engage frequently with 3rd party support vendors and ensures proper timing of maintenance renewals
Work with cross-functional project teams and/or operational cross functional teams
Grow level of knowledge in area of expertise by maintaining certifications, attending seminars or through other related activities
Data center operational tasks such as rack setup, layout, leveling and power strip setup, etc. as necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline is required
Coursework in Azure/AWS Could Engineering, SAN storage, Cyber Security, Project Leadership, Software Engineering and Scripting tools is desired
Technical certifications are desired but not required, relevant examples: MSCE, VCP, CCNA, CompTIA Security+ etc.
0-3 years IT experience, great opportunity for recent or upcoming graduates
Basic+ knowledge and experience supporting Microsoft Server OS and Hyper-Visor operating systems (in cloud or on prem)
Windows, 2012 R2 & 2016; 2019; 2022 or RHEL Linux v 7+
VMWare v. 6.0+or MS Hyper V
Basic experience with Azure ARC, Azure Stack HCI
Basic+ knowledge and experience with Dell Server Hardware, configurations, and troubleshooting
Experience with HP 3Par and HP Nimble Storage; Cisco SAN configuration and support a plus
Experience with Dell Data Domains and support a plus
Knowledge with PowerBI a plus
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Perl, or other languages
Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented
Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and customer service and relationship building skills
Excellent written and communication skills
Familiarity with multiplatform environments
Knowledge of server security configurations and vulnerability management processes
Ability to proactively identify areas of improvement and recommends/implements changes rather than waiting for direction
Knowledge of Agile practices and processes (Scrum/Kanban)
Excellent team player - proven ability to resolve problems professionally and systematically
Data center skills such as installing moving/equipment and cabling
The salary range for this role is $62,000 to $85,000 or the hourly equivalent.
