Description
The primary responsibility of the Navigator is to aid individuals and their families in understanding community resources, services, and funding options available to them. The Navigator engages with clients and community members to gather their input in shaping services at Lifeworks, and actively promotes our services through outreach efforts to individuals, teams, funders, school districts and potential community partners. The Navigator is a subject matter expert on Lifeworks’ service offerings and confidently guides folks to the right solutions for their needs.

Department: Program
Hours: Full-time; 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday (Non-Exempt)
Location: Lifeworks Services – Mankato, MN / Hybrid
Compensation: $24 to $26 per hour
Bonus Eligible: Yearly

• Are trained in person-centered planning methods or willingness to be trained within 90-days of acceptance into role.

• Have knowledge of or connection to the Latin community and/or the communities surrounding Mankato, MN preferred.
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent in Spanish, verbal and written.
How You’ll Be Spending Your Time
• Being a subject matter expert on Lifeworks’ service offerings and help new clients navigate complex service structures.
• Ensuring equitable and inclusive treatment of all persons accessing Lifeworks.
• Providing complimentary navigation sessions to all new clients to Lifeworks.
• Using sales and marketing techniques to support organizational growth goals..
• Collaborating with team members and cross-functionally to develop and maintain an accessible resource library for our clients.
• Generating revenue by providing navigation services to individuals and families.
• Collaborating with Sales and Marketing to represent Lifeworks at state, county, school district, employer, and community events to showcase Lifeworks services and generate qualified referrals.
• Keeping up to date with knowledge regarding program information, capacity, funding, and regulations.
• Serving as a resource to Lifeworks staff, customers, individuals served and their families by researching and compiling information on service access and funding. Identifying practical options that help optimize their resources and achieve maximum desired independence.
• Taking a proactive role in leading and promoting cross-training to continuously enhance Lifeworks’ service delivery, ensuring consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborating with Sales and Marketing to promote program wins and client success stories throughout the organization.
• All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor Degree required; minimum of three-years customer service and/or human service program related experience.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• Fluent in Spanish, verbal and written.
• Candidate must live in or around Mankato MN.
• Candidate must complete and pass a pre-employment background study; a physical and drug screen; and have access to reliable transportation for work purposes.
