Foundation Services Specialist
Job Summary
Provides analytical, communications, public relations, and operational support to the Owensboro Health Foundation.
Job Responsibilities
• Responsible for operation and use of the Raiser’s Edge NXT, constituent/donor relationship software and its application to cultivation and solicitation of philanthropic giving.
• Develops and maintains policies and procedures related to donor management, cultivation, solicitation, and gift processing for application in Raiser’s Edge NXT.
• Executes internal and external communication plans utilizing Raiser’s Edge NXT capacity.
• Conducts prospect research.
• Assists with full implementation of Grateful Patient tools.
• Utilizes Raiser’s Edge NXT to aid develop strategic planning, assessment, and evaluation measures.
• Ensures IRS compliance with gift entry, donor acknowledgement, and gift reporting.
• Analyzes finance and accounting reports and provides findings.
• Oversees accounts payable and receivable.
• Acts as volunteer auxiliary liaison.
• Participates in the day-to-day operations of the Owensboro Health Foundation.
• Ensures the Owensboro Health Foundation team members have the necessary tools and resources to complete their respective duties.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in business related field required upon hire
• A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
• No licensure/certification/registration required
