Minimum Qualifications Applicants for these positions must hold a Ph.D. Position Summary The Center for Vaccines and Immunology in the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia seeks an outstanding researcher in immunology for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor faculty position. Applicants should have a track record of independent research, with interests focused on adaptive immunology. The Center seeks to complement existing strengths by recruiting faculty whose interests include infection and disease models for pathological assessment and vaccine or therapeutic development as a central component of their research program. Candidates having programs leveraging foundational immunological processes to elicit protective immunity and/or modulate immunopathology are also highly competitive. The faculty candidate will be responsible for establishing and overseeing an independent, extramurally funded research program, engaging in collaborative research activities within the Center and across the College and University. Successful candidates will be encouraged to participate in a rich interdisciplinary and collegial environment provided by the Center for Tropical and Emerging Global Diseases, the Center for the Ecology of Infectious Diseases, the Complex Carbohydrate Research Center, the Center for Molecular Medicine, the Precision One Health Program, the Regenerative Bioscience Center, the Isakson Center for Neurological Disease Research, as well as
