Cognizant is a large IT Consulting Firm that leverages modern technologies to transform a variety of businesses. We are seeking a Senior Analyst with Facets experience to join our team. This role is fully remote, and all applicants must be physically in the US.
Role Responsibilities
• Accountable for maintenance of the Facets design and specification of Customer system solutions.
• Able to analyze and troubleshoot batch processes related to Claims Load, Claims Payments, Claims Member/Provider Match and Capitation, Provider Build and Link.
• Able to apply systems knowledge to drive and execute the analysis of highly complex problem management, system enhancement, and modification requests.
• Advise system requirement teams on eliciting system requirements, including mentoring of less experienced system analysts and new employees.\
• Responsible for the quality of requirements in the interfaces. Conduct requirements meetings with business & trading partners, gather requirements details, document and review requirements with various client stakeholders
• Perform a root cause analysis on QA and UAT defects for system upgrades and change requests.
• Provides metrics to management on quality of requirements and clarification tracker. Share Best Practice and learning across internal teams.
• Analyze the functionality in current operations systems and drive effort to automate processes where possible.
Required Skills
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4-6 years’ experience in full life cycle software development, including requirement definition, analysis, design, coding, system testing, documentation and implementation.
• Must also have 4-6 years of experience with TriZetto Facets systems with SQL/Script development.
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience working in a lead role with Facets systems.
• Strong Analytical & Problem Solving skills.
• Excellent hands on SQL experience with the ability to write complex queries.
• Oracle\SQL Server hands on working experience with ability to develop new or modify existing stored procedures.
• Good Healthcare Experience required. Good knowledge about EDI formats like 837, 835, 277 etc.
• Intermediate or higher level proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to clients and the business in writing and verbally.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 - $86,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
