Job Description
UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Project Controls Cost Specialist opportunity to support an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) project.
Senior Project Controls Cost Specialist
Locations: Greenville, SC Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Ensure integration of the Cobra cost engine with the program's scheduling tool (Oracle Primavera P6) and the proper management of project costs, measurement of performance, management of change control, and analysis of budgets, actuals, and forecasts
• Develop and manage the Estimate to Complete (ETC) collection and integration process and validate the Estimate at Complete (EAC) within the Cobra data system
• Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing EVMS implementation and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
• Manage the performance measurement baseline through the monthly integration of schedule plan, status, and forecasts with accounting system actuals, and develop quality assurance to ensure accuracy of reporting
• Prepare, analyze, and review program performance measurement and cost variances, and for the implementation of change actions into the cost baseline according to procedure
• Prepare and manage the variance analysis collection process and produce the required Format deliverable reports (Fmt 1-5) along with other required monthly metrics according to the monthly business rhythm
Basic Job Requirements • Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to project controls
• This is intended to be a senior level person with no less then experience equal to 14+ years' experience
