Join us and we can make a difference together.About this roleThe Buyer will carry out processes, standards, and operational plans in support of purchasing activities, including RFPs, negotiation preparations, and cost analysis; work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly; develop and maintain excellent supplier relationships and implement sourcing strategies to continuously improve supply chain resiliency.Key ResponsibilitiesProcure $40-$60 million of production components supporting multiple production linesManage relationships with a supply base of 60-80 suppliersPrepare and process request for quotations and purchase ordersResolve discrepancies in orders, shipments and paymentsEstablish lines of contact with team members, supporting cross-communication and idea generationIdentify process improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain responsibilitiesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree1+ year of experience in supply chain, operations or customer servicePreferred QualificationsExperience in the manufacturing industry, OEM and/or supply chain managementAbility to thrive in a dynamic environmentSelf-starter capable of working with minimal oversight and proactive in seeking solutionsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MRP/ERP system experienceStrong written and verbal communication skills#LI-OnsiteRSRCARCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
