Job Title: VRG Packaging Technician I
Location: Athens, GA 30601
Duration: 6 Months
Shift 1st
Hours 6:00 am-4:30 pm M-TH
Details:
• Perform duties associated with packaging and filling VRG to meet quality guidelines.
• Work well in a team environment; anticipate and help team members.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals
• Basic math and computer skills required
• Read, understand and perform SOPS.
• Operate alone or in a team environment in a productive manner. Ability to sit or stand for a minimum of 2 hours at a time. Participate in line setup, production, line clearance and troubleshooting.
Skills:
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, APHIS, OSHA, EPA, regulations pertaining to production process.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrate desire to work productively, troubleshoot machinery and provide quality product to the customer.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, alone or in a group.
• Ability to respond to diverse physical demand of departmental assignments.
• Math skills
• Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical problems
• Computer skills
Education:
Minimum High School graduate or equivalent
