The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, founded in 1946, is dedicatedto training future veterinarians, providing services to animal owners and veterinarians,and conducting investigations to improve the health of animals as well as people. Preferred Qualifications Position Summary
With minimal supervision, this position provides direct support to the Director, all faculty, staff, post-docs, graduate students, business manager and HR Specialist of ICNDR .

Perform secretarial duties:
• Answer telephone/greet visitors; be first point of contact for the ICNDR .
• Maintain calendars
• Copy, scan, email, fax and file documents.
• Maintain an organized filing system for ICNDR correspondence, documents, and forms including correspondence with the graduate school and department.
• Monitor and order laboratory and office supplies for ICNDR members, including processing electronic purchase and payment requests, which requires familiarity with ICNDR chart strings and knowing the appropriate accounts for billing.
• Work closely with business manager to process and manage payment requests, and manage orders in UGAmart
• Maintain expense reports

• Process purchases and check requests and prepare travel authorizations and reimbursements in OneSource.
• Manage FedEx and UPS pick-ups and order mailing supplies.
• Order, receive, sort and deliver perishable packages to laboratory staff and maintain and update the inventory of chemicals, research supplies, and equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Prepare reports, memos, letters, financial statements, newsletters, ICNDR seminar flyers, or other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, graphic design or publication software.
• Maintain a database of published and unpublished manuscripts, conference abstracts and presentations, funded and pending grants, biosketches, CVs, awards, etc.
• Maintain graduate and undergraduate lists, inventory of courses, and research reports.
• Assist with maintaining and frequent updating ICNDR and faculty web pages using website-editing software.

• Assist with preparations for guest speakers visits and luncheons.
• Organize weekly, monthly, and annual meetings among ICNDR faculty, students, and outside researchers.
• Accurately record and prepare drafts of ICNDR faculty meeting minutes as well as Dr. Kanthasamy meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
