About the Role:
As a Project Consultant, you’ll be the key connection between Bonitz and our clients. This role requires a balance of relationship-building, project ownership, and strategic thinking. You’ll drive new business, manage existing clients, and oversee projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Construction:
• Cultivate relationships with general contractors, architects, designers, and owners.
• Gather project requirements, including CAD drawings, specifications, and site conditions.
• Collaborate with the Estimator and Project Specialist on proposals and material orders.
• Develop strategies for large opportunities and ensure client needs are met within budget.
Construction:
• Serve as a point of contact for Project Managers and support project adjustments.
• Manage change orders and ensure proper documentation and communication.
Post-Construction:
• Oversee project closeout, including client follow-ups, punch lists, and final documentation.
• Conduct project debriefs to identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years in sales or project management in Commercial Construction (Preferably flooring or ceiling experience)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Exceptional communication, critical thinking, time management, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with construction materials, safety requirements, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-starter with a professional appearance and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
