Process Engineer Lead - Water & Wastewater Treatment
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer Lead to build, manage, and lead a team of engineering professionals in support of various water and wastewater treatment projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-volume, custom plant projects while being hands-on in design, implementation, and optimization of treatment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects from conceptual planning to bid-ready documents, including facility and equipment layouts, design calculations, and vendor coordination.
Manage and coordinate activities with support disciplines and regional offices, as well as regulatory agencies.
Conduct quality assurance and control throughout the project lifecycle.
Evaluate and design major process equipment for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members and actively participate in marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in municipal water and/or wastewater treatment.
Must be a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the US with the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
Advanced degree in Environmental or a related engineering discipline is preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with core hours from 9 AM to 3 PM (8 AM to 5 PM preferred).
Onsite preferred; hybrid or remote options considered for the right candidate, with occasional travel to the office expected.
Compensation:
Competitive salary range of $130k - $200k, commensurate with experience.
