Product Manager
Description
Position Purpose: The Product Manager is responsible for the development of products by focusing on the vision for product offering, assisting with the strategy and roadmap for the product, and working with cross-functional teams to define and execute the product offering success.
Position Summary: The Product Manager is responsible for working collaboratively with a cross matrixed team including
Engineering, Sales, Service, Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Quality, Accounting and Management to coordinate,
communicate and contribute to new and existing product development.
Essential Duties
• Lead Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) by developing forecasts and analyzing market trends
• Assist Sales and Marketing teams in providing timely communication between marketing, field sales, etc. Topics to include, but not limited to – syndicated data results, promotional sell sheets, program updates and sales collateral materials
• Understands market trends and historical data to provide input to forecasting process
• Work with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure accurate resource planning
• Product Lifecyle Management: Responsible for the product offering through the entire product life cycle
• Handle all customer specific requests and brand line extension activities
• Lead Marketing/Product Analysis aspects of New Product Development Process
• Lead/support project management activities as needed to successfully select, develop, and commercialize new products
• Utilizes the New Product Development process to ensure compliance with company procedures
• Serve in cross-functional roles and responsibilities in support of corporate objectives

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
• Degree in product design, engineering, sales / marketing or related degree.
• Minimum of 5 years in business experience in the field of marketing, product management, leading cross functional teams, and using a product development process preferred. Must be willing to continue to advance education in project/product management
• Experienced professional presentation, planning and organization skills, with outstanding analytical abilities.
• Experienced professional communicator across various mediums to various size audiences with various levels of technical aptitude including: internal and external customers, suppliers, executives, contractors, potential customers and public speaking / presenting.
• Can interpret syndicated market data and research and recommend appropriate actions.
• Capable of working independently and staying organized while assuming multiple responsibilities and tasks
• Able to motivate, problem solve, deal with ambiguity and effectively prioritize business needs.
• Proficient in MS office application – Excel, word, PowerPoint, Outlook, One Note) and other related operating systems
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and able to be covered under company insurance policy
