Team Leader (3rd Shift) - Manufacturing
Summary/Purpose
Provide leadership to their team to ensure Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
Provide leadership to the department
Lead improvement activities for quality, delivery, safety and cost
Assure quality, production, safety/environmental standards, 5S are met
Schedule manpower and relieve operator when needed
Conduct meetings as necessary
Record daily information, such as, time and attendance
Assist in identifying training and development needs for department team
Support company policy and administer fairly and consistently
Investigate, solve and report on product or process problems
Assist in preparing departmental procedures/processes
May perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned by management.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Technicians report to Team Leader

Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

Ability to use problem solving approaches
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and ergonomics
Excellence in attendance and verbal/written communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Knowledge of various inspection techniques
Knowledge of quality systems, gauging and close tolerance measurement
Conduct team member evaluations
Able to learn to operate and maintain various equipment at an acceptable level with emphasis on quality, IATF 16949 standard, ISO 14001 standard, safety/environmental, 5S and productivity.
Able to perform in a team environment
Support company policy
Ability to work overtime and any shift as needed
Education and Experience: 
High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Work shift as assigned and overtime is required, as needed.
Will be required to do the following throughout the shift: standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching above and below shoulders, moving left to right repetitively, grasping, and fine finger dexterity. 
May be required to lift during shift up to 40 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required with this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields.
