About the Position
As an Intern - Associate Delivery Manager at the University of Phoenix you’ll be a part an agile product team – a collaborative group that uses flexible and iterative approaches to develop and improve products quickly and efficiently. As an intern, you'll be part of a fast-paced environment where you'll contribute to various stages of product development, from brainstorming to launch.
The Associate Delivery Manager is responsible for coordinating product delivery, removing impediments, and ensuring strong cohesion between the product team and Product Trio. Using DevOps principles, an individual collaborates with stakeholders and analyzes team performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and innovation. You’ll learn Agile principles and will help to foster a culture of collaboration and extreme ownership within the team.
What You’ll Do
1. Engage with various teams within the specific department related to the internship, as well as throughout the University, to gain exposure and hands-on experience in their field of study; actively participate in a wide range of opportunities to apply practical knowledge to current business situations.
2. Collect, analyze, and present findings in related areas, using opportunities to apply practical knowledge and gain exposure to working with various levels of colleagues throughout the University.
3. Participate in work groups to broaden knowledge and enhance skills.
4. Perform research and provide actionable recommendations in work-related areas.
5. Perform other duties as assigned or apparent.
Additional Responsibilities :
• Coordinate product delivery to ensure desired outcomes are met.
• Remove impediments that could distract the team from their primary focus.
• Promote innovation, continuous discovery/exploration, and team empowerment.
• Utilize DevOps principles for continuous integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate product deployment and release.
• Analyze team performance metrics to drive improvements in quality, predictability, and velocity.
• Facilitate and improve team meetings and planning events.
• Performs other duties as required or apparent.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
• Currently pursuing a degree in a field related to focus of internship: Applied Science (Project Management), Business (Project Management), Organizational Leadership (Project Management), Engineering Management, and Applied Business and Technology Solutions.
• Able to commit to the internship position for a minimum of 3 months (May 19, 2025 - August 15, 2025), with a possibility of an extension.
• Able to commit to 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) in a virtual environment free from distraction.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Able to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel in a very dynamic and timeline sensitive work environment
• Able to collaborate with upper management, clients and other departments
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Self-starter; organized; detail-oriented; motivated to set personal and team goals and proactively track performance against goals and outcomes.

Pay Range
The hourly pay rate range is $20.00 (minimum), $22.00 (midpoint), and $28.85 (maximum). The annualized amount, not including eligible overtime pay, is $41,600 (minimum), $45,760 (midpoint), and $60000 (maximum).*
*Typical hiring range is between the minimum and midpoint of the above pay range. Actual starting base pay may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, location and budget.
