Job Description We are a leading provider of innovative reliability and maintenance solutions in the power generation and industrial manufacturing sectors. Our mission is to deliver reliable, efficient, and sustainable reliability and maintenance support solutions to our clients. We are seeking a dynamic leader to develop specific business solutions for the life sciences market in the United States.
The segment lead will collaborate with other leaders within the business to identify and develop specific reliability, resilience, and maintenance (R&M) service offerings for the life science market. This role requires a deep understanding of the life sciences markets, including R&M requirements, key challenges facing clients, market trends concerning outsourcing of services, and technological advances in the market.
• Identify the primary service offerings to offer clients based on established criteria
• Develop those offerings into a viable business offering, to include execution model(s), business system requirements, digital tool requirements, personnel requirements (leadership and technicians), etc.
• Work with business development to create a sales plan for the business to include target clients and revenue estimates, marketing and strategy.
• Collaborate with Fluor’s ATLS organization to drive synergies regarding technology and client relations.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings

Basic Job Requirements • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and sixteen (16) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twenty (20) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements • Extensive knowledge of the life sciences R&M market, including market trends, regulations, certifications, key players, competitors, etc.
• Experience with repair and maintenance associated with critical utilities (GMP)
• Experience preferred in the application of HVAC principles as they apply to clean room/laboratory applications to include HEPA design, air balance, hood flow and control principles.
• Experience with quality systems and the requirements pertinent to maintaining industry standards, particularly within the QS and ISO series.
• Strong and demonstratable network of contacts and relationships within the industry.
• Familiarity and experience working in labs, contract manufacturers, generic manufacturers, startups, and major pharmaceuticals
• Familiarity and experience with reliability and maintenance services for the market (e.g., air and ventilation, water treatment, waste management, non-GMP, equipment maintenance, basic building maintenance, etc.)
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job

Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor/Masters degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Operational, Maintenance and/or Services (non-transactional) background in the life sciences market.
Salary Range 160,000 to 302,000
Market Rate The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
