Assist with various tasks related to research including recruitment of participants, data collection (using surveys, interviews and basic data analysis using word, excel and power point). Student will also assist with other miscellaneous duties including organizing information, writing summaries, coordinating tasks, doing basic literature reviews among other things.

The Research and Evaluation Unit (REU) is housed at IHDD. REU provides a full range of applied research and program evaluation services to help organizations answer important social questions and help support informed and accountable decision making. Services that REU provides include designing and conducting formative and summative program evaluations, needs assessments, conducting qualitative, quantitative and mixed method research.
The student assistant will work closely with the director, other team members at the Research and Evaluation Unit (REU). The student will assist with various tasks related to research including recruitment of participants, data collection (using surveys, interviews and basic data analysis using word, excel and power point (Additional training will be provided as needed). Student will also assist with other miscellaneous duties including organizing information, writing summaries, coordinating tasks, doing basic literature reviews among other things.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft office including word, excel, power point.
• Ability to conduct interviews over the phone, conduct/assist with virtual group meetings.
• Ability to work with research information and data including being able to read, synthesize and organize information, basic statistics, review and synthesize social science data (additional training will be provided as needed).
