Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in French and Francophone Studies or a closely related field; the degree must be in hand by the time of appointment.
Position Summary
The Department of Romance Languages at the University of Georgia ( https://www.rom.uga.edu ) invites applications for the position of tenure-track Assistant Professor of French to begin fall 2025. We are seeking an innovative and versatile colleague whose research and teaching interests complement those of our current faculty.
The successful candidate will maintain an active research program, teach two courses per semester, and mentor undergraduate and graduate student research. Our faculty are expected to serve on departmental committees and support recruitment to our programs, which include majors, minors, and study abroad.
