Driver- CDL Class B with HazMat and Tanker Endorsement
Job Overview
The Driver (CDL Class B with HazMat and Tanker Endorsements) is responsible for providing safe and courteous service while delivering quality products. Primarily delivering package and bulk oil.
Responsibilities
• Operates truck as directed to transport between the facility and multiple destinations.
• Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of petroleum products to ensure timely service.
• Makes deliveries of petroleum products in accordance with customer needs and company policies.
• Maintains contact with home terminal/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Responsible for daily inspection of vehicle (pre and post trip), ensuring proper function of all safety related features of the vehicle at all times, including refueling as needed.
• Comply with all DOT, EPA, FMCSA, and company regulations.
• Clean and maintain equipment and work area following maintenance procedures.
• Follows all department standard operating procedures.
• Follows prescribed safety rules and fosters an environment where employee safety is a top priority.
• Inspect/perform minor troubleshooting and repair of employer/customer storage tanks and dispensing equipment.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Must maintain a clean presentation of the driver and vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Class B CDL with Haz-Mat and Tanker Endorsements.
• Commercial driving experience strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED and 1-3 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Available for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Must meet all DOT/Federal and State Requirements for the operation of commercial motor vehicles.
