The company founders want you to lead this division. They plan on developing your pre-existing skillset and adding to them so that you are prepared, capable and fully supported to undertake a Senior Leadership role leading this new division.
Equity within the new division is absolutely on the table as the owners want you to be incentivized with driving the division forwards and you will have a seat at the table and be rewarded for the success that you’ll play an integral part in achieving.
About the company
The company are a well established General Contractor based out of South Carolina. They deliver projects across both North and South Carolina as well as neighboring states with healthcare, education, and commercial clients.
Projects consist of both ground-up and refit/refurbishment projects between $1m-$100m in scope.
Their reputation has enabled them to secure continuous repeat business, and they are now embarking on a planned period of growth to take the company from a well-established regional entity into a larger organization and diversify the verticals that they deliver projects into.
About You
You will be an experienced Project Manager with a track record of delivering complex projects within Education/ Healthcare/ Complex Commercial/ Class A Office space.
You will be at a stage in your career where you are looking for the opportunity to progress.
Humility is critical and the constant drive to learn and develop your skills and experience. You’ll be a team player as in order to deliver projects and progress into Senior Leadership bringing people along with you and developing less experienced team members is critical.
The Role
Upon joining the business, you will establish yourself by leading projects. This will allow you to get to know the company’s way of working and get to know your teammates.
Over the next 2-3 years you will work alongside the company owners to establish a plan of action for launching a new division and you will go through any required training that you need, preparing you fully to undertake a Senior Leadership role.
Once this has been achieved you will be promoted and undertake a pivotal role leading the new division. Whilst the role will give autonomy you are not on your own, both company founders are fully committed to the plan and will do what is needed to enable success.
